Professional Advisory Committee

The involvement of Victoria's medical, health and scientific community is central to AV's approach to meeting its goals.
The Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) will:
- Advise the Board of Directors on strategies to ensure AV has access to the latest knowledge and evidence in the treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions;
- Identify and advise the Board of Directors on priority areas and issues requiring responses by AV;
- Assist the Board of Directors and senior management in their communication with Victoria's medical and scientific community and other health professionals;
- Convene and conduct an annual forum of people from medical, health and scientific communities to assist the Board to set strategic directions for the organisation;
- Recommend suitable persons for their medical and/or other professional expertise for appointment to the Board;
- Undertake other activities and projects as agreed with the Board of Directors from time to time.
