Khan, Muhammad Asim 2002, Ankylosing spondylitis: The facts, Oxford University Press, Melbourne.
Having lived with this condition himself for many years, Khan, a leading expert on AS, provides a unique combination of scientific knowledge and personal experience. This book presents clear information on treatment, diagnosis, and daily life with this AS.

Millar, A Lynn 2003, Action plan for arthritis: Your guide to pain free movement, Human Kinetics, Champaign.
A guide to individual goal setting that includes a fitness assessment and exercise plan.

Weinblatt, Michael E 2001, The arthritis action program: An integrated plan of traditional and complementary therapies, Simon and Schuster, New York NY.
The author is a professor at Harvard Medical School.  He writes that while no cure is available for arthritis, the discomfort can be minimised by the treatments outlined in his program.
